heres how you get a mew in pokemon diamond!
first of all, i suggest that you stock up on ultra balls or and kind of ball (if you havn't yet used your master ball!) because mew, is very hard to catch!
Okay, here's what you do,
(NOTE: this only works if you have got the nationaldex and beaten the elite4 5 times!)
Once you have beaten the elite4 5 times go to ur rivals house (in twinleaf town!) and talk to his mum, she will say that he has not been back for quite a long time, and if any of you have ovserving memories then u will remeber that ur rival is still at stark mountain! so, got to stark mountain and find ur rival - who is waiting outside the door (in the first little room thing inside the mountain!) - talk to him and he will say that he saw a strange pink pokemon that flew above him and the cave - BLAH BLAH! all that talk! then your character will folo him outside the mountain, he will talk to u a bit more and then you will see the 3D pic of mew that will fly down infront of u! (NOTE: mew will be like mesprit and cresselia - he will run away, but only over the island that stark mountain is on, so u hav a better chance of catching him sooner.)
Mew will be at level 70!! when u catch him.
After u see mew fly away, ur rival will say stuff about him going to visit home. then he will go away.
if u r wondering y mew is not showing on ur marking map yet, its coz u needa go to ur rivals house, but once again, he wont be there! talk to his mum and she will say something about him going catching a boat from snowpoint cite to find a pink pokemon.
U BETTER HURRY, BCOZ THIS IS A STRANGE CHEAT, IF U DO NOT CATCH MEW WITHIN 5 DAYS, UR RIVAL WILL HAV MEW - COZ H CAUGHT IT!!
